We are pleased to announce that the Dutch Laravel Foundation (DLF) and Shock Media will enter into a partnership as of June 1, 2025.
As a non-profit organization, the DLF is committed, among other things, to knowledge exchange among Laravel developers in the Netherlands and supporting the Dutch Laravel community. Managed hoster and market leader Shock Media joins this mission and will support the DLF in multiple ways from June 1, 2025. Shock Media is, of course, very pleased with this collaboration.
Win-win situation
In their collaboration, both organizations have mainly sought opportunities that provide a win-win situation for both parties. We would like to highlight a few of these points:
- Shock Media will become a knowledge partner of the DLF. This will be reflected, among other things, in knowledge sharing through articles on the DLF website and during talks at events.
- Shock Media will be the official sponsor of LaraFest 2025.
- Members of the DLF will benefit from a “hosting hotline,” allowing them to contact Shock Media experts for hosting-related issues.
- Partners of Shock Media will receive a one-time discount on DLF membership.
- DLF members are eligible for the partner rate and a welcome discount on hosting at Shock Media.
- As a managed hosting provider, Shock Media knows better than anyone how important it is to always keep your web platforms online. That is why Shock Media will soon also be responsible for hosting the DLF website.
A shared passion for Laravel
