Last Friday, several of our sporty colleagues represented Shock Media at the Corporate Beach Volleyball Tournament in the center of Almelo. It was a day full of sun, sand, and athletic competition, and we are incredibly proud of our team!
Preparation
Preparations for the tournament were in full swing. We had practiced, discussed tactics, and the sun was shining beautifully. In short, all the ingredients for victory were present. Our team was ready to shine on the sand!
First Rounds
We were placed in a pool of four companies. Our team won the first match by a large margin. The enthusiasm and team spirit were rewarded in the second match with another victory. Unfortunately, the third match was a disappointment and was lost, but the fourth match put us back on the winning track. With these victories, we actually became the pool winner!
The Quarterfinal
Full of enthusiasm, the Shock Media team took to the sand for the quarterfinal. Unfortunately, this was where it ended for our team. Despite our effort and hard work, we couldn’t win the quarterfinal. But that didn’t spoil the fun; the next rounds on the terrace were still a big success with drinks and lots of laughter!
