Last week at Shock was all about action, excitement, and above all, a lot of fun. Our annual staff party was a real adrenaline rush this time, with buggy driving and paintballing on the agenda. We look back on a very successful day!
Buggy Tour through Hengelo and Boekelo
Our adventurous day started with a buggy tour through the picturesque country roads of Hengelo and Boekelo. In pairs, we raced through the landscape as clouds of dust billowed around us. The dusty faces led to hilarious moments and lots of laughs afterwards. It was the perfect way to start the day and get everyone in the right mood.

Fierce Paintballing
After the buggy tour, it was time to get ready for paintballing. We started with a practice round so everyone could get used to the paintball gun, the field, and the impact of getting hit. After a short break with refreshing drinks, it was finally time for the real action.
Group 1 took up position on one side of the field, while group 2 lined up on the other. The tension was palpable. Paintballs flew past us and every hit was clearly audible. One of the highlights was undoubtedly our own Wout, who stormed onto the field dressed as a rabbit and with only one paintball left in his gun, like some kind of Rambo. He ran around screaming, only to be thoroughly hit by both the opposing team and his own teammates. It was a spectacle not soon to be forgotten!

Cozy BBQ
After all that action, it was time to relax and enjoy a delicious BBQ. With great food, refreshing drinks, and good company, the fun lasted well into the evening. It was the perfect end to a day full of adventure, teamwork, and lots of fun.
