The resources within the Private Cloud can be easily scaled. Within the Private Cloud, Cloud Servers can be scaled indefinitely up to the maximum of the Resource Pool (capacity). The size of the pool can easily be expanded with additional nodes.

High Availability without shared storage
A Private Cloud from Shock Media is highly available without requiring a SAN, also known as shared storage. This results in significant cost savings. In addition to lower costs, a High Available Private Cloud offers extremely high reliability, scalability, and maximum performance.

It is possible to set up the Private Cloud with shared storage. A shared storage solution can be added at any desired time.
Unmatched performance with SSDs
The underlying layer of a Private Cloud can be fully customized for you. For example, it is possible to configure complete Private Clouds based on SSDs or to use SSD caching. In no case will the infrastructure of your own Private Cloud hinder the delivery of a fast and robust environment.
Physical and virtual scalability
The Private Cloud from Shock Media offers maximum scalability at both the physical and virtual level. Cloud Servers can be upscaled at any time for optimal performance. At the physical level, underlying nodes can be added at any time to increase available capacity within the Resource Pool.
Live Migrations
Live Migrations are possible within a Private Cloud. A Live Migration is the “moving” of a Cloud Server to another, possibly geographically separated, part of the Private Cloud so that maintenance can be performed.
Combining different hardware
Due to the way Shock Media creates the Private Cloud, it is possible to combine different hardware. As a result, a Private Cloud can always be expanded with the latest technologies.
Snapshots
For example, for development, updates, and upgrades, it is possible to take a snapshot of any desired Cloud Server. With a snapshot, you can quickly and easily roll back to a previous state of the Cloud Server.
