Step 1 – Kick-off
Setting up the Managed App Platform tailored to your application requires careful coordination between you and our DevOps Engineers. This starts with a kick-off during which the platform, its operation, collaboration, and the application’s setup are discussed.
Step 2 – Requirements
Based on the kick-off, the technical requirements are determined. With these, it’s decided how best to deploy the application on the Managed App Platform.
Step 3 – Configuration
Once it’s been determined how the environment will be set up, the DevOps Engineers start writing the HELM charts and configuring application containers. The result is a test environment.
Step 4 – Deployment testing and optimization
Once the test environment is configured, testing can begin with a deployment of the application. This is very straightforward—by simply sending a compiled version of the application to the platform, it is automatically deployed to the correct containers. After deployment, the configuration is further optimized and tested. If everything works as desired, a production environment is set up.
Step 5 – Go live
After testing, the application goes live on the Managed App Platform, after which new versions can be deployed without downtime.
Step 6 – Support, maintenance, and monitoring
From the moment the application goes live, Shock Media will fully manage and maintain the underlying infrastructure, containers, and configurations based on a comprehensive Service Level Agreement. Our DevOps engineers provide extensive support for changes, new deployments, and any issues. The team of specialists is available 24/7!
